A 6-year integrated program is different from the 2 plus 2 model used by most Caribbean schools. This thread maps out what each phase covers, what the clinical years look like inside Bahrain's hospital system, and how that compares to US-based clinical training.

6 years is a lot longer than what im used to seeing for caribbean schools. is that 6 years starting right after high school or is there still some undergrad requirement before you get in

yeah its a direct entry program from what i understand, so students come in straight out of secondary school basically. thats pretty normal for a lot of countries outside north america tbh, the us/canada 4 year post grad model is actually the unusual one globally

so if its 6 years total how does that break down, like is it 2 years basic sciences then 4 years clinical or some other split
