For micro, organize by clinical syndrome, not by alphabetical bug list. Ask "what causes pneumonia? meningitis? UTIs?" and learn the top few organisms per syndrome with their key distinguishing features. That's how exams test it and how you'll actually think on the wards, a patient presents with a syndrome and you reason toward the likely bug. The classic bug-drug associations and the signature buzzword features (the gram stain, the special media, the toxin) are pure exam gold. Don't try to memorize all bacteria equally, learn the heavy hitters cold.
