What is the average cost of tuition in Caribbean med schools, and are scholarships or financial aid available?

Jason00 (Student)

something i wish someone had told me before i started to negotiate

not all schools advertise their scholarship flexibility but several will negotiate if you have a competing offer from another accredited school. I got SGU to match a scholarship offer i received from AUC by just emailing admissions and asking. saved roughly 8k per semester over basic sciences just from one email

Jason00 (Student) wait you just emailed and asked them to match it? just like that?

Jason00 (Student)

BrandonLane (Aspiring student) more or less yes. i said i preferred SGU, had an offer from another accredited school, asked if there was any flexibility. financial aid office came back within a week with a revised offer. be polite, be specific, have a real competing offer. it doesnt work if youre bluffing
