Residency Program Review

This section of ValueMD is dedicated to residency program reviews and the U.S. residency match process. The National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) is the impartial system used to match applicants and residency programs each year — roughly 16,000 U.S. medical school students go through the match, alongside another 18,000 “independent” applicants, including prior U.S. med school grads, U.S. osteopathic students, Canadian students, and international medical graduates, all competing for around 25,000 available residency positions.
